The AI inside Rundoo has been busy. It has surfaced lapsed customers who quietly drifted to the chains, flagged a pricing error that would have snowballed into a six-figure tax discrepancy, and caught a $400 transaction that charged 100 units instead of one before the customer ever noticed. Something that does this much work every day deserves better than a generic label, so we gave it a name: Dooey.
Rundoo AI is now Dooey. Same purple button, same answers in seconds, new name on the door.
Why Dooey
Most AI products are named to sound impressive. We named ours after what it does all day, which is do things. Ask it which contractor accounts have gone quiet and it pulls the list from your own sales data. Ask it to draft a purchase order from real sell-through and it drafts one. Set it loose on your daily numbers and it patrols them overnight so you do not have to. Dooey by name, do-ey by nature.
The name also solves a practical problem. "Rundoo AI" described a feature. Dooey is closer to what store owners told us it feels like: an extra staff member who just does the legwork, one who never calls in sick and never gets tired of pulling reports. When something answers your questions, catches your mistakes, and handles your busywork, you end up talking about it like a coworker, and coworkers have names.
What Dooey does
Nothing about the product changed with the name, so the three A's we have written about before still describe it best:
- Analyze: ask plain-English questions about your own store. Which customers stopped buying this year? What lost margin last month? What should I reorder before the season? Dooey reads your sales, inventory, and charge accounts and answers in seconds.
- Act: hand it the next step. Dooey can draft purchase orders, update records, and send the information where it needs to go, so the answer turns into action without a detour through three screens.
- Automate: put the repetitive work on a schedule. The Daily Health Summary reviews every transaction overnight and flags the pricing errors, margin exceptions, and odd quantities a busy counter never has time to hunt for.
Store owners like Ron at AllPro Paint used it to win back half of a twenty-account list of drifted customers in three months, and it is the same tool that surfaced a ten-week pricing error costing one multi-store owner over $4,200 in lost margin. Those stories, and more like them, live on the new Dooey page.
What changes for you
If your store already runs on Rundoo, nothing changes except the label. Dooey lives behind the same button on every screen, your saved conversations are intact, and the Daily Health Summary will land at the same time it always does. The new name will start showing up around the product, on this site, and in our updates.
If your store is not on Rundoo yet, Dooey is one more reason the switch is worth a look, because it comes included on every screen with unlimited users rather than bolted on as a separate analytics line item. You can see everything it handles on the save time and effort with AI page, or book a demo and ask Dooey something about a store like yours.
Less talk, more Dooey.
