Rundoo, the AI-first platform for independent supply stores, partners with PACOA (Paint Applicators Corporation of America), the Northeast's leading independent wholesale distributor of paint, hardware, lumber, janitorial, and building supplies, to bring modern, unified software to PACOA's network of independent retailers across New York, New Jersey, Connecticut, and Pennsylvania.

Rundoo gives PACOA dealers a single platform for POS, inventory, ordering, and vendor management. Integrations with PACOA's systems are on our roadmap; once complete, the data will move where it needs to go and the store owner can stop playing air traffic controller between their register and their distributor portal.

Why this matters

PACOA has been a family-owned operation for over 40 years, built on a simple idea: independent retail dealers in the Northeast deserve a wholesale partner who actually knows their business and picks up the phone when they call. Operating out of Port Washington, New York, PACOA distributes paint, hardware, lumber, janitorial supplies, and building materials to the kinds of stores where the owner greets you by name and somehow always knows which primer works best on old plaster walls.

But maintaining that edge gets harder when the owner is spending their evening reconciling purchase orders instead of planning tomorrow's endcap, or when the one employee who knows how the old system works is on vacation and nobody else can pull up a receiving report. PACOA's dealers carry products across a wider range of categories than most hardware distributors, and managing all of that through disconnected systems is the kind of operational tax that eats into time that should be going toward customers.

Rundoo fills that gap with a single system planned to speak PACOA natively once integrations are built. Catalog data, ordering, receiving, price changes, and item maintenance are all on our roadmap.

Trade Shows

PACOA hosts their Spring and Fall Dealer Markets at Queens College in Flushing, New York, bringing together independent paint, hardware, and building supply retailers from across the Northeast for buying, networking, and the kind of hallway conversations that only happen when you put a few hundred store owners and their favorite sales reps in the same gym. Rundoo is there on the show floor, demoing the platform, swapping stories with store owners, and occasionally learning more about paint color psychology than we ever expected to.

At the PACOA Spring 2026 Dealer Market, Rundoo presented to PACOA's full sales team, ran demos for store owners across two days, and created over a dozen new opportunities from the show. PACOA's reps have become some of Rundoo's most enthusiastic advocates, actively connecting stores in their territories with the platform. We'll probably have stickers, and we'll definitely have opinions about paint.
