The University of Waterloo co-op model alternates four-month school terms with four-month work terms, so by their fifth or sixth co-op, students arrive with a high floor and ramp on a new codebase fast. We treat a term as an extended, two-way interview where both sides get real signal over a real product cycle, and turning strong co-ops into full-time engineers is our primary hiring strategy. We are hiring engineering co-ops for Fall and Winter terms, following the Waterloo co-op cycle.
Where is the co-op based?
Our engineering team works out of our Redwood City office, and that is where co-ops are based too. Expect to be in the room with the people you are building alongside.
Is there a path to full-time?
Yes. Turning strong co-ops into full-time engineers is our primary hiring strategy, and we would be thrilled for that to be you.
